Vintage brass round ceiling light. Antique chandelier light made in the art nouveau style around the 1910's. This vintage could be mounted as an independent light or hardwired into a ceiling as originally intended. The decorative motifs have a very definite French theme which is typical for the period. There was probably originally mica shades on the sides and the bottom of the light fitting to act as a diffuser as it has the ability to accommodate them. The bottom section which is pressure mounted lifts of so that the light can be changed with ease.

A great addition to your arts and crafts home decor. This would make a great gift for a housewarming or birthday.

MEASUREMENTS

Vintage chandelier measures 20.25" diameter (15" most narrow diameter) by 16" tall and weighs 14lb 7oz.

CONDITION

This vintage chandelier is in good working condition with signs of use commensurate with age. There is a dent on the edge which would be placed against the ceiling and some loss of plating over the years. (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
